How does it work?
It's really simple; this product shelters your clothes from the rain yet benefits from wind and sun to aid drying. Hang out clothes in any weather and they will dry and you don't need to worry about showers etc. The aluminium frame and the weatherproof perspex cover protect your washing from rain, hail snow and even bird droppings!
Will the rain get in underneath when it is very wet and windy?
This question is often asked. Instructions are given on the best way to hang clothes in extreme weather. On very windy and wet days clothes can be hung in a little way from the edge and hung in a way thet they don't hang too low and they will dry perfectly.
How will I save money?
You will recoup the cost in what you save on electricity. A tumble dryer is one of the most expensive appliances to run. There are no running costs with your Clothesline Canopy, no wear and tear or shrinkage on your clothes.
Will the canopy be safe in high winds?
Yes, this product is designed by an engineer using industrial grade materials to withstand strong storms and heavy downpours. There is a small gap between the wall and the canopy which prevents the possibility of any damage from any upwind forces. The product will be stable and secure even during the strongest of Irish storms and will last for many years.
What size is the Canopy Clothesline?
The Clothesline Canopy comes in three different lengths; 8 ft, 10 ft long and 12 ft long depending on your needs and space. It projects out 4 feet 2" from the wall. Each Canopy has 4 lines. The Canopies can be made to any length if these standard sizes don't suit. The width can also be adjusted.
Is there a Guarantee?
We offer a 5-year guarantee on the Clothesline Canopies and Patios under normal conditions; although we are confident that these structures will remain undamaged even in stormy weather we cannot give a guarantee against severe weather events. You may need to replace the clothesline wire, you can contact us to purchase replacement wire or purchase in a hardware shop. We cannot offer a guarantee on installations that are not carried out by one of our own installers.
How is it installed?
We have trained installers in many areas or there is a flat pack option available also. The flat pack contains everything you need and detailed instructions. You need a masonry drill. A good handyman would have no difficulty with installation. Our own installers will install a Clothesline Canopy in 1-2 hours. If you don't know a local handyman we suggest you use a website like www.tradesmen.ie where you can get a list of options.
